I did not read you were from Mexico but there is going to be a consideration regarding federal money used to bail out some Lenders but the contingency maybe that a judge would be able to decide what you will owe the lender. This has not happen yet.





As for you social security number that has nothing to do with your mortgage it was used as an I.D. to say you are who you are. You have other documents like you paystubs, your loan docs....

I am curious to know how you financed a house without a social security number. What is your eligibility and FICO tied to/based on?





More important, why should we, the other tax payers who were priced out of the market or were prudent enough not to jump on the band wagon, pay for your mistake? The housing bill will do nothing for anyones mortgage. It will only help out the failing corporations. It's called socialism, but instead of the homeless or uninsured benefiting it's corporations. Enjoy it because you are paying for it to the tune of over $2300/each.
It won't pay your bill at all. Thank god! I love how the banks were irresponsible for lending money but the people who borrowed the money and can't pay it back are not. What a toilet bowl we are all swimming around in. Ya know the banks would be fine if the debtors paid their bill's like big kids are supposed to.

If you are illegal, of course not. Illegal aliens do not get refund checks because they haven't filed taxes.
