How can anyone feel comfortable getting a mortgage out?

With the knowledge that come 2011 we start paying back Mr Browns borrowings.

About as comfortable as I feel getting my t*ts out...How can anyone feel comfortable getting a mortgage out?
People need to start realising this 'credit crunch' won't go on forever. I'm not a fan of Brown and I think what the banks are doing is crazy however people need to start buying again and getting Mortgages even through the rates are Rubbish! It's only going to get worse if people keep tightening their belts.
Good Old Ebeneeezer Broon - Eh! buys up all the banks - and they still dont lend to Joe Public.. he will be shown the door in May 2010.... but dont worry - new new Labour will be back in late 2014 - becasue the poor Tories will have to raise VAT to 20% ...and put up every other tax to pay for Ebeneeezers F-up's...
